Lighthouse Community and Event Centre was established as a place of hope and a space for the community to connect and come together.

 

Opened in 2016, The “Lighthouse” speaks of being a place emitting light or hope into our community. We desire to express love and acceptance to members of the community by providing an environment for people to gather

 

Our aim is to create a centre that will be:

​

• A hub of activities every day of the week in the local area

​

• A place where:

                    children can play and be safe

                    young people can gather and have a place to belong

                    students learn new skills and

                    adults discover their potential

​

• A venue where families and communities can gather and the elderly find new interests

​

• An avenue for business people to network and realize their potentials.

Lighthouse Community and Event Centre was established upon strong Christian values believing that every person is valued and important to God. We believe that God’s heart is for people and our desire is to create and maintain nurturing environments for people from different walks of life to come together and connect.
